They dealt with the classtruggle in a way that was at times highlydramatic but also highly predictable. Everyone drank a lot and had sex a lot and the good characters came to realize that capitalism was destructive and evil, while the evil characters became monsters and just died horribly or else got richer and richer while talking about democracyandfreeenterprise. All the female characters who arent whores are ice-cold social climbers who live to tease tease tease regular joes who cant get a nickel or a squaredeal from the fat fat fat cigarsmoking bosses who just keep on getting richer richer richer by John Dos Passos

What Did I Do Wrong?: When Women Don't Tell Each Other the Friendship is Over Reading this book was extremely cathartic. While there are no coping strategies in this book, reading stories of other women going through the same thing in almost an identical way helped bring acceptance and closure I have long needed. I bought this book to help understand being dumped in a friendship, but it also forced me to face reality that I have been guilty of causing this pain to others in the past as well as being on the receiving end What Did I Do Wrong?: When Women Don't Tell Each Other the Friendship is Over by Liz Pryor

Teen Trailblazers: 30 Fearless Girls Who Changed the World Before They Were 20 Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to read this ARC. I was saddened to find out that this copy didnt contain the stories of the 30 teenage girls as it was written in the synopsis.Nevertheless, this book was well-balanced, presenting girls from both the past and the modern day. I am particularly proud of todays girls who are finding innovative ways to make a difference.I believe this book should be read by both teenagers and adults. There is something to be learned from the determination these girls presented in the book are showing.
