Unspeakable: Surviving My Childhood and Finding My Voice My goodness. This book was an over eight hour listen and brought up things for me that would have taken a few months of therapy. I highly recommend listening to the audiobook version (also easier for people to listen to if they want to be able to avoid being retraumatized by certain parts, she gives trigger warnings).Wish I could give a more in depth review, but there are truly no words for what Jessicas memoir stirs up inside me. Worry I have never read a book that so accurately captured the zeitgeist and humor of my generation…as someone living in NYC in my 20s I felt so SEEN. This book literally made me laugh, gasp, and tear up somehow all at once. The dialog is dynamite, the sisterly love/hate is spot on, and the ever creeping existential dread is so REAL and relatable. The book is not plot driven at all, but each chapter has a little arc that made it like binging episodes of your favorite TV show Worry by Alexandra Tanner

Stitches It’s called Stitches but could just as easily be called Weird Scary Stuff That People Sort Of Remember Most Of. Irresistible cover-just look at it! Series of short Japanese spooky stories told with a sitting around the campfire kind of feel. In fact they each felt a bit mysterious and unfinished, as if the group ran off screaming to their beds in fear and delight before the story was over. Warning tho-the watermark on the version I read was slapped on every page-an ill-advised and distracting tactic Stitches by Hirokatsu Kihara

The Fragile Threads of Power (Threads of Power, #1) There are some authors whose personalities you want to hear hints of while reading their works, and there are others that you dont. V.E. Schwabs voice is one of the ones you yearn to hear. She has an incredible way of slowly unravelling stories. Her tales are carefully crafted and mature, yet fun. The Fragile Threads of Power is a great expansion of the world and story that began in the Darker Shades of Magic trilogy. Additionally, all the characters, old and new, had great development. I enjoyed seeing some older characters from a new perspective The Fragile Threads of Power (Threads of Power, #1) by V.E. Schwab
